The Research and Publication Department in the Peace Research Institute (PRI) / the University of Khartoum organized a workshop on Monday, 9 April 2012, for the purpose of reviewing the first issue of Discourse Journal at the premises of the Institute.
Discourse, a coherent Journal that is concerned with issues of conflicts, peace, human rights and social knowledge, comes out biannually in Arabic and English.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Abadi Zemo, accompanied by Minister Counsellor I and Head of Political and Economic Affairs, Gebreselassie Gebreegziabher, to Sudan visited the Peace Researches Institute (PRI) for the purpose of keeping abreast of the activities of the Institute.
The MBA-planning officer for security and construction, Anne-Katrin Niemer, and Peace and Security Expert/ Africa Department, Martin Kraft, in the German Agency for International Development (GIZ) paid a visit to the Peace Researches Institute (PRI) for the purpose of sharing ideas on prospective projects for Sudan for 2012-2013.
Director of the Peace Researches Institute (PRI), Dr. Mohammed Mahjoub Haroon, met with illustrious Prof. Peter Woodard, professor of political science at the British Reading University who visited PRI in the company of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mansur Yousif Al-Ajab, in the presence of Prof. Awad Al-Syed Al-Karsani.
