The Missing Piece: Where is the Missing Peace in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement?
The Peace Research Institute (PRI), held a lecture that comes within the PRI policy debate, by the 9th of February 2016, in Small Sharigah Hall. Audiences from academic, diplomatic, and other different domains, had the chance to participate in a debate interaction. The lecture titled (The Missing Piece: Where is the Missing Peace in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement?) was addressed by Ambassador Princeton N.Lyman, a senior advisor in the U.S Institute of Peace, and the former US envoy in Sudan and South Sudan. Mr, Lyman, discussed how peace was greatly missed after the CPA, highlighting causes and consequences. He also mentioned some initiatives to recreate and maintain peace, including the National Dialogue, that Mr, Princeton described as good but not enough.
